GIVING YOU VITAL TOOLS

All our health & wellbeing sessions are designed to give you practical tools to help you cope, reduce stress and improve your quality of life. These are provided free-of-charge to carers registered with the Carers Hub.

During lockdown, sessions will be delivered via Zoom. There is no need to sign-up or register with Zoom to participate in a Zoom session. Further information on how to accept a Zoom invitation is available here

To help you get the most out of this experience we are running sessions every Wednesday at 1.30-2.30pm.

12 x 60-minute zoom sessions – interactive

Participants are free to sign up to all on any one of these dates.

There will also be an opportunity to continue to enjoy mindfulness sessions each Wednesday during lockdown, however these may not be interactive as they will be open to a higher number of participants.

Wed 22nd, Wed 29th April & Wed 6th May and every Wednesday until the end of June 2020 @ 1.30-2.30pm

Mindfulness is the practice of living in the present moment and experiencing things without judgment. Mindfulness has both a mental and a physical component and emphasizes a mind-body connection. Mindfulness can be a worthwhile practice for those who wish to reduce stress, manage pain, or cultivate personal awareness.

All unpaid carers who are looking after a family member or friend who cannot manage alone due to illness, disability, frailty or addiction. Former carers and volunteers who are connected to us are also welcome.
