CARERS HUB CONNECTED!

Carers who are registered with the Carers Hub are keeping connected via our WhatsApp group chats. Just download WhatsApp free-of-charge on your smartphone and text the relevant staff member below.

Our WhatsApp groups enable carers aged 18 or over with similar caring roles to connect and share experiences, resources, ideas and support. 

WhatsApp allows you to raise and discuss issues with your peers as they arise and to know that you are not alone. 

Carers Hub staff will be on hand to provide answers and ensure that information shared is as accurate as possible and that conversations are relevant and appropriate.

Parents with pre-school children who have disabilities and additional support needs.

Parents and family carers of adult sons and daughters who have disabilities and additional support needs.

Group Content:

Supportive forum for like-minded parents – sharing latest news updates and relevant information to help keep upbeat during lockdown. Male and female carers form the group. New members welcome.

All carers, with any caring role and particularly those who would normally attend our Tuesday Carers Café at the Carers Hub.

Group Content:

A platform for our adult/older carers to keep connected, supported and in-the-loop! This group allows less tech-savvy carers to maintain their peer friendships and for staff to share ideas and information relevant to this group.
